Hebrews 13:7-19 — The relationship between any church and her Elders is designed by God to be one of cooperative covenant. That is what we see in Hebrews 13. The Elders are called to model, lead and watch over souls. The members are called to imitate and submit in the understanding that the Elders service is costly and carries with it a level of eternal accountability. All of that is designed to bear fruit for God’s glory in and through the church. The church functions best when we grasp and give ourselves to playing our part in this. This session is designed to help us understand how to function faithfully and fruitfully in this God-ordained relationship.
