Ephesians 5:1-21 — One of the chief challenges many of us encounter as followers of Christ is our preoccupation with what people think about us. There is a latent tendency that afflicts most of us with either people pleasing or panicking about what people think or say about us. Our testimony is designed to helpfully shift from this kind of self-focus to making a priority out of showing people Jesus. So we watch how we live, speak, act and think because we want people to think highly of Jesus. We pay attention to our living because we want to draw attention to the transforming power of Jesus. This session will help us diagnose areas of spiritual blindness we might have, the sin that is symptomatic of that and help us consider how to live out our testimony with care and clarity.
